چکیده
Continuous measurement of tritium in the atmosphere is important to evaluate environmental impact nuclear facilities and fusion as well elucidate behavior environment. A passive type sampler powerful tool conduct long-term monitoring because this does not require any power supply. This paper demonstrated effectiveness for continuous characterized temporal variation atmospheric concentration tritiated water vapor around Fukushima Daiichi plant. The concentrations were successfully obtained at two sampling sites ranged within past observation although one was slightly higher than that background level Japan. Additionally, we measured soil pore free pine needles. These values indicated validity concentrations.

Morphological defects in native Japanese fir trees around the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant
After the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (F1NPP) in March 2011, much attention has been paid to the biological consequences of the released radionuclides into the surrounding area. We investigated the morphological changes in Japanese fir, a Japanese endemic native conifer, at locations near the F1NPP. Japanese fir populations near the F1NPP showed a significantly increas...
متن کاملOperational level for unconditional release of contaminated property from affected areas around Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant
This paper focuses on the surface contamination control of slightly contaminated property after the Fukushima nuclear accident. The operational level for the unconditional release of contaminated properties is calculated in counts per minute (cpm) to enable the use of a typical Geiger-Muller (GM) survey meter with a 50-mm bore, on the basis of the surficial clearance level of 10 Bq cm(-2) for (...
متن کاملFirst successful isolation of radioactive particles from soil near the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant
The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (F1NPP) accident in 2011 released radionuclides into the atmosphere in both aerosol and gaseous form. Subsequent studies of contamination in the environment have focused on the bulk radioactivity in samples. Comparatively little is known about the relative contribution and patterns of soluble versus particulate deposition of the radionuclides. We invest...
